i swear to god, i cant fathom how bizarre and psychedelic it is that our government keeps managing to pull off heists like this.
right under our noses, without giving us any notice, any time to discuss (or object) Congress just passed the Military Commission Act... which officially gives Bush sweeping powers, over-rides the constitution, suspends Habeus Corpus, and allows AMERICAN CITIZENS to be declared enemy combatants.
"Anyone who donates money to a charity that turns up on Bush's list of "terrorist" organizations, or who speaks out against the government's policies could be declared an "unlawful enemy combatant" and imprisoned indefinitely. That includes American citizens." -GNN
